Ive always wondered why there weren't more games where you're not the hero, just someone following in their wake. Glad i'm not the only one! Also Props for figuring out how to export to HTML 5 because i definitely failed at that LOL
it took me a google/youtube video but also someone helping me in the discord >< turns out i needed to make an account with game maker/opera site to change the target export? idk what its called. depending on your program you could look at how to do it too or ask in the relevant channel
Yeah I had a lot of unexpected trouble the second I made that account with opera, GameMaker refused to start up anymore. Looks like its a common issue with GameMaker struggling to authenticate/communicate with Opera during start up and it just hangs and nothing i tried worked to fix it. Eventually I just ran GameMaker as an admin and it worked.
I agree xD When i tested it at first i thought it was ok but when i played it after uploading it i realized maybe the part where the player is in your ss is a bit long ><! If i get time i might fix (and some other things) but i dont think i will be able to before jam end :(

It's actually better if you don't jump, just slide off onto it.
